QotD: The Last Time I Surprised Myself
When was the last time you surprised yourself?
I did my taxes last night. I took a $20,000 (yes - you read that right) pay cut. I made exactly half of what I made in 2006 and I didn't go under. Most of the money I make I use to help my parents out -- they've never been quite right since my dad lost his job and he took a 50% pay cut at the job he's currently at.
Anyhow. Very surprising.
