The roof (and everything else) is on fire

My Grandma used to live in Bonita---she could look out her back door and watch the illegals cross the border---a hill or two over and a four lane highway was between them and her neighborhood. (Back in those days there wasn't a fence.) I hope her old home and neighborhood is safe.

I hope you stay safe, too.

so far, south county hasn't had to evacuate but it is really smoky out here. My mom works in North County San Diego and they turned them away from their building. We're okay now, but it is a little creepy, scary and smoky,

Thanks for the well-wishes!

It was really bad in Solana Beach yesterday.Oceanside seems to have escaped it for the most part-though supposedly it was very smoky here yesterday-when I was at my parents' house. If it *had* been smoky, any evidence of it was gone by the time I got home.
Oh gosh! I wish you safety and luck! Well wishes!
Thanks!

They've started voluntary evacuations in our area since we are downwind of the majority of the fires and the one that is about 20 minutes away from me is getting worse =[ It's a little bit scarier than it was yesterday.
Whoa, super scary. I truly wish for your safety.
