The roof (and everything else) is on fire
Ahh San Diego. We thought the Cedar Fires were bad didn't we?
Here we are 100,000 acres in and nothing can be contained until Wednesday. I live close to the Border--close like look out my front door and I'm looking right at the border fence. There's two fires down there as well, not to mention in Otay.
Apple closed down all their San Diego locations, so I guess I get to stay at home and do some work. It's really smoky down here so I've got the kids stuffed in the house for today. I'm kind of getting hungry-- it smells like bbq outside.
If you're in an area where you're being told to evacuate please do so! Your homes and worldly posessions aren't worth your lives. Be safe.
EDIT: There is a total of 8 fires in San Diego total. Someone called me to say they were evacuating Imperial Beach, which means I could be leaving sometime soon.

My Grandma used to live in Bonita---she could look out her back door and watch the illegals cross the border---a hill or two over and a four lane highway was between them and her neighborhood. (Back in those days there wasn't a fence.) I hope her old home and neighborhood is safe.
I hope you stay safe, too.
Thanks for the well-wishes!
They've started voluntary evacuations in our area since we are downwind of the majority of the fires and the one that is about 20 minutes away from me is getting worse =[ It's a little bit scarier than it was yesterday.
