LO-LO-LO-LOVE

-My new iPhone. Can I get a what what? People, I am addicted and you don't know how good it feels to have a phone that actually WORKS. Blow it out, Verizon.

-I've been up in the gym workin' on my fitness. And feelin' good like Nina Simone.

-Date next Wednesday. Surfer. Hot. Vegan. xXx. Intelligent. HOPEFULLY NOT A POTENTIAL DATE RAPER. Needs C50 screening ASAP.

-Poketo

-Fabulous earrings from Aldo that were $10.

-Being blessed. Staying Blessed. Capital B!!!

-Potential home buying soonish.

-Three more weeks of working 3 jobs. It's so close I can taste it.

-Catering is kickin' butt! I have some recipes to post so you can taste my yummies.

Strongly Dislike

-Fender Bender in the parking lot today. ALL I WANTED WAS MY VENTI BLACK TEA! Dude and his girl got out of the car and got rowdy. I nearly burst into tears. It was my first accident in 10 years of driving that mofo car.

-Breaking shit in the repair room. If we had a Hippocratic Oath for repairs, I'd be breaking it.

-Kids coming on a weird schedule. We can't do the fun stuff if you don't bring them on time!

-Bikini razor burn.

-Nair Leg burn.

-Can't find burgundy date shoes. FAIL FAIL FAIL.

-Been away from Vox for far too long

Would you remember these cards?

Our current catering logo is a stock photo of a tree. It's a nice design to be stock from Kinko's, when we walked in on a whim. But it's a bit outdated.

About a year ago, we spent about $300 for a logo design from a pretty reputable graphic designer -aka recommended by a friend- to design a new logo. He ran off with the cash! It was a definite WTF moment, and it made me determined to figure out a way to get a new logo for our cards and business.

Moo just helped out in a big way.

I was already a super fan of their MiniCards, but they were waaay too small to hand out as buisness card. Mainly since most of my clientele are big offices and the like, I wanted to make sure that our cards don't get lost in the mix. Their new business card size is right up my alley, and for extra bonus points I can put my own images on them.

My thought is to stage a photo shoot and have my friend Dexter do my photos and from there put them on Moo Cards. Fantastic!

Some of the *better* images are:

The one on the far left has real roses wrapped in floral tape, Hello Kittiy is a cupcake cake (cupcakes and frosting made my me, artistic talent done by Gina Gaylor -my own photo). The middle one in black and silver is a top part of a wedding cake that I did. Devils Food and Vanilla Bean cake layers, with white chocolate icing. Covered in fondant. The other two are fruit bowls (obvz) and our lemon herb roasted chicken. I think these would look good on cards don't you think?

Make more jobs for teachers
Open up an organic self-sustaining restaurant and give homeless people and teenagers jobs running the damn things. Teach them a trade people!
