I love 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. They always put me on to good stuff. So does this guy that I work with, Robert. Out of Sweden, here's Little Dragon. Give them a listen. My personal favorite is Recommendation.
Phew, thanks for listening. It feels good to get back to posting.
I caught this on Big Sonic Chill the other night and I realized that this was an album I hadn't really listened to in a bit.
I bought the new Belkin TuneBase 3 last weekend, so I've taken to listening to my ipod to and from work. It's been on shuffle the past few times and I love the shuffle feature. Songs have been popping up that I haven't heard in years and it's been pretty fantastic. Yesterday a Deftones song came on and I about wrecked my car. Tonight on the way home Powderfinger came on and I remembered how much I liked this band.
Listen and enjoy.Remember how I was on my Mark Ronson kick all of last year? Yeah, still on it. AAAAANYHOW.
I listen to his radio show almost every Friday. EVR. Authentic Shit, yada yada. He threw this mix in from Adele that he worked on and I was like "OMFG the radio show could end right there". It's still my favorite part of the show. EVR 11.9.07 if you're interested.
So Adele recently released an album called 19. Even though she's from Tottenham, I still dig her. So as I promised in an earlier entry, here are my 3 favorite tracks from her. Please buy this album!
Thank you,
Mgmt.
I only look forward to the Zune commercials because of this song, Steve. I swear it.
Let's just hop right to summer. I'm ready for those lazy days (of which I plan on many) at the beach. Even with the rugrats, I shall be at the pool or at the beach. SP
F 50 since I discovered that I burn (seriously, wtf grandpa?!) and with some good music.
So here is one of the songs that has me excited for the lazy days of summer...and kind of makes me wish I lived in the country.
I'm really starting to like this holiday. It's official.
First off, prompted by the We <3 Music Ratt post, I thought I may as well post my "Year of the Rat" song here.
My mother, feeling jealous that I didn't bring her any yummies from my previous Chinese New Year post wanted to go get some Chinese. Since I could eat Chinese all day every day, we set off to our local until we remembered about this Pei Wei place. I'm not a big fan of chain Chinese as they tend to be over priced, over booked and underwhelming *cough PF Changs cough*. This place was really really good and we got enough food to feed 4 people for only $24. If you have one in your area, check it out and try the Spring Rolls!
I'm going to go back to my food coma before I wake up and take the rugrats to Chuck E Cheeses - they've been really good this week and I'm a masochist. If I don't come back, please check under the ball pit!
