but I couldn't. I'm sorry to say that I seriously enjoyed Victoria Beckham's special tonight. It was both major and fierce. She's actually funnier than I anticipated and it was all around good times. I was left going "Gosh, I wish there was more!". Ah well. Enough of that.
At least there's Chelsea v. LA Galaxy on Saturday!! I wish I was going but *sigh*.

We too good for My Little Pony!?
I just checked my DVR and it recorded three episodes of Life on Mars. I LOOOOOOOVE this show. I got addicted on the plane ride from England, and they were showing it on BBCA for a bit and then it stopped. It looks as though they're in sequential order, so I'm well pleased. I'm going to sit on my ass and watch some TV!
I love when Russell T. Davies writes the Doctor Who episodes. It's not that I don't like the other writers, I just like him a lot better. Last week's "Gridlocked" was one of the best episodes in quite some time and I wanted to know if there were any other people who enjoyed the episode like I did.
I think Father Ted was in it as Brannigan? Can anyone confirm or deny?
My mom also deserves a prize for guessing the last words of The Face of Boe. She called it last season in "New Earth". I haven't told her yet, so we'll probably watch it together tonight. She's got to get caught up with the Shakespeare Code and Gridlocked.
OMG The Shakespeare Code! How good (if cheesy) was that episode! I loved the guy who played Shakespeare. He was really good, and he kept trying to get into Martha's pants! Horny Shakespeare! Bi-Sexual Shakespeare! Loves it!

24 hours and a lot of cursing later, I had the first episode of Doctor Who season 3!
It was so worth the wait!
The episode was great, I love Martha Jones. She's got her own thing going on! I miss Rose, but I could only take her chavtasticness sooo much. Intergalactic police rhinos! Blood sucking assimilating aliens! Rain raining upwards! The Doctor's large and hairy feet!
It was sooooo good. bring on Shakespeare and hurry up with Captain Jack Harkness already!
(Someone mentioned that I should be checking into Torchwood. Any watchers? Is it even any good? Y/N?)
Doctor Who this Saturday! At least for you lovely UK'ers.
I have to wait until Sunday morning to download it, but I'm so excited! In addition to being a google-eyed freak, I'm also a sci-fi nerd =P I can't wait to see the Doctor and Miss Jones' interaction with each other! Will those mofo Daleks show up? (sick of them like whoa!). Where is the Doctor going to be going this season? Will the Doctor be getting some booty? I really can't handle UST, honestly. Just do it, and get it over with SERIOUSLY. and Captain Jack is coming back this season! WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!
Ok. That was enough nerding out for the week. If I mysteriously vanish, you can find me and my G4 curled up in bed with some snacks, watching the Doctor.
I'm currently watching the above television program -- it's something that I look forward to every year -- and I'm a little disturbed.
What kind of asshole gives out rocks as Hallowe'en candy? Poor Charlie Brown, he needs to grow a pair and go regulate on some peeps. Those people are just as bad as the ones who give out raisins, granola bars, and pennies instead of candy. Yes, there was someone who gave out the above items consecutively. And trust me, they got egged for it. You'd think they would have learned?
