This is a Tuesday Things post, as well as a "let's see how much I can procrastinate before I really have to finish studying for the Genius exam". You'd like to hear it? Well here it go:

L-O L-O L-O L-O-V-E

• Full time suckas! Dental and shiz (appts to be made when I return from Austin)
• Losing 5lbs (how? where?! what?)
• I finally watched Juno. I really dug it.
• Business trip to Austin
• Mom and I are talking
• Talked with my UK Mum today. I love her so much, it ain't funny.
• Gut-busting road trip to L.A. this past Saturday. I think I ate my weight in catfish.
• Clinton possibly conceding the Democratic Nomination (I'll believe it when I see it...)
• I am HAPPY ya'll. It's crazy how this feels!

*Hate Hate Hate*  Strongly Dislike

• The weather is Austin is between 95-100 degrees the two weeks I'm there
• Studying for this mofo Genius exam. The pay is awesome (for retail) but dammit this studying sucks.
• Food is fricking EXPENSIVE. WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH TO EAT?
• Don't even get me started on gas. I'm sorry I bitched when it was $2.00 for gas. I'M SORRY GOD, MAKE GAS CHEAP AGAIN PLZKTHX
• Graduation has been pushed back again and I think I'm never moving to England now =(
• H&M is still sold out of the outfit I want to buy for Austin. Dammit.
• Dreaming about plane crashes. FAIL.
• Lack of people IMing me. Where are you people?!?!?!
  

Today is Vox's first anniversary since the official launch.  What's the best experience you've had on Vox in the past year?

First Birthday

I joined Vox mainly because I liked new things. It was mainly for curiosity's sake. In the past year (well a little more since I was a beta-tester type person) I've found the BEST ONLINE COMMUNITY EVAR. Seriously.

I've learned so much from my neighbours, from reading their own experiences and their comments on mine. I've met some great people -- most of which have become like family. This sheltered little girl appreciates everything that Vox is and is becoming. "No man is an island" -- Vox makes sure of that. It's a true interactive community and after going through DeadJournal, GreatestJournal, Xanga, and LiveJournal -- well, Vox has everything I need.

So here's to Vox, a spectacular community filled with spectacular people. Here's to many more years filled with QoTD, Vox Hunts and more mp3 posties from neighbors!
